Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ cup Flax Seeds
  • ½ cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 packet Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 ¼ cups Warm Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, and salt.
  2. 2. In another bowl, dissolve the honey in the warm water and add the yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  3. 3. Pour the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the bread for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  7. 7. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
