  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Chopped dried figs
  • 1 cup Raisins
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 unit Egg

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the figs and raisins.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool before slicing.
