- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
- 1 cup Milk warmed
- ¼ cup Water warmed
- 2 tablespoon Cornmeal for dusting
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan and dust with cornmeal.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
3. Add the warmed milk and water to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle the top with cornmeal.
5. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until the batter has doubled in size.
6. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped.
