Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g All-purpose flour
  • 10 g Salt
  • 7 g Active dry yeast
  • 300 ml Warm water
  • 30 ml Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  2. 2. In another bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. 4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  5. 5. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F).
  7. 7. Punch down the dough and shape it into a round loaf. Place it on a baking sheet.
  8. 8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  9. 9. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
