Main Ingredients
- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk Warm
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 2 ¼ teaspoon Active dry yeast
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ cup Butter Melted
- 1 Egg Beaten
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Add melted butter, beaten egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
Shape each piece into a ball and place on a baking sheet. Use scissors to snip ears into the top of each ball.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
