Main Ingredients
- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Milk warm
- 2 tablespoon Butter melted
- 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 Eggs beaten
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
2. Add the melted butter, beaten eggs, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf or braid. Place it on a greased baking sheet.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
7. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
