Main Ingredients
- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Milk warm
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoon Butter softened
- 2 teaspoon Active dry yeast
- 1 unit Egg beaten
In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, salt, butter, and beaten egg to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal pieces.
Shape each piece into a nest by rolling into a rope and coiling it. Place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
