  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Orange zest
  • 0.5 cup Orange juice Freshly squeezed
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 0.25 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Egg

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in the cranberries and orange zest.
  4. In another bowl, combine the orange juice, milk, vegetable oil, and egg. Mix well.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
