- 2 cups Cornmeal
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 1 cup Cracklings chopped
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, baking soda, and salt.
Add the buttermilk and stir until just combined.
Fold in the chopped cracklings.
Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
