Main Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness.
Cut into shapes with cookie cutters and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let cool on a wire rack.
