  • 1 cup Brewed coffee
  • 1 cup Chopped dates
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 unit Egg
  • ¼ cup Butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the brewed coffee and chopped dates. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add the sugar, egg, and melted butter to the coffee and date mixture. Stir well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
