- 1 cup Buttermilk
- ½ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 ¾ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ½ teaspoon Salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
