  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and dried oregano.
  4. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered bread halves.
  6. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and slice into pieces. Serve warm.
