Cheddar Thyme Flaky Biscuits

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- ¾ cup cold milk
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in cheddar and thyme.
Add milk and stir until just combined.
Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
Roll out to ½ inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter.
Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
