- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup cold butter cut into small pieces
- ¾ cup milk
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add milk, stirring until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 8-10 times.
Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.
Place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
