  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • ¼ cup Butter, melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
