Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Milk warmed
- ½ cup Butter melted
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 2 ¼ teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
- 3 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 Eggs beaten
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and sugar. Sprinkle yeast over the mixture and let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
Add beaten eggs and salt to the yeast mixture. Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, until a soft dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into two equal parts. Roll each part into a circle about ¼ inch thick. Cut each circle into 12 wedges.
Roll up each wedge, starting from the wide end, to form a crescent shape. Place the rolls on a greased baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for another 20-30 minutes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with additional melted butter if desired. Serve warm.
