- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 2 Eggs beaten
- ¼ cup Butter melted
- 1 cup Broccoli chopped
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, mix buttermilk, beaten eggs, and melted butter.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
Fold in the chopped broccoli.
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool slightly before serving.
