1. Add water, flour, salt, olive oil, sugar, and yeast to the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the dough cycle and start.
2. Once the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough and divide it into 4 equal parts. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
3. Roll each dough piece into a circle. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on one half of each circle, leaving a border around the edge.
4. Add ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni slices on top of the sauce. Fold the dough over the filling and crimp the edges to seal.
5. Place the calzones on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
