- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups fresh blueberries
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk, beating well after each addition.
Gently fold in the blueberries. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
