Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 1 cup Plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add yogurt, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, then flatten into a disc.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook each flatbread for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
