Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Add the buttermilk and shredded cheese. Mix until a dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead briefly.
Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on a baking sheet.
Cut a deep cross on top of the loaf with a sharp knife.
Bake for 30 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
