Main Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, cold cut into small pieces
- ¾ cup milk
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add the cold butter pieces and cut them into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add the milk, stirring until the dough comes together.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently a few times.
Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter.
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
