In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
Add the warm water and mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour.
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball. Poke a hole in the center of each ball and stretch it to form a bagel shape.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Boil the bagels, 2-3 at a time, for 1 minute on each side.
Place the boiled bagels on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
