  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk warmed
  • 2 teaspoon Yeast active dry
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground mahlab
  • 1 teaspoon Ground anise
  • 2 Eggs beaten
  • 1 stick Butter melted

Instructions

  1. 1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let it sit until frothy, about 10 minutes.

  3. 3. Add the yeast mixture, beaten eggs, and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
