Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cups Apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup Walnuts, chopped

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the apples and walnuts.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
