  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 6 tablespoon Cold butter cut into small pieces
  • ¾ cup Buttermilk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the buttermilk until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently a few times.
  6. Pat the dough to about ½ inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter.
  7. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
