Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yeast active dry
  • 3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water and then stir in yeast. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam.
  3. Mix salt and oil into the yeast mixture. Add flour one cup at a time.
  4. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a well-oiled bowl, and turn dough to coat. Cover with a damp cloth. Let rise until doubled in bulk, about 20 minutes.
  5. Punch dough down. Knead for a few minutes, and divide into 12 balls. Place on greased baking sheet. Let rise for 10 minutes.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
